The Auburn-area California Highway Patrol is looking for the car that hit and killed a tow truck driver Tuesday afternoon.
Officers describe the vehicle that killed David Robinson, Jr. as a silver or light grey Honda or Acura sedan from the early 90s. There should be significant front-end damage on the right side.
The car didn’t have any license plates when it hit Robinson. Officers say there is a Temporary Operating Permit on the rear windshield. The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-20s, wearing a black baseball cap.
Anyone with information about the collision is urged to call Officer Steve Johnson, at the Auburn Arena CHP Office, at (916) 663-3344.
