Organizers of Costa Mesa United's eighth Annual Mesa Verde Classic Charity Golf Tournament are looking for sponsors and foursomes for the Jan. 21 event at Mesa Verde Country Club.

The annual golf tournament and banquet raised $146,000 in 2012 and is Costa Mesa United's largest annual fundraiser. A variety of sponsorships of varying levels are still available, starting at $250. Foursomes are also still available for $1,600 ($2,000 after Jan. 7) or non-golfers can attend the dinner and auction for $100. The cost of a single golfer is $450 ($500 after Jan. 7). Last year, the 136 golfing slots sold out by the end of December.

The day includes a generous swag bag, 18 holes of golf, different themes, food and drinks on each hole, a silent auction, gourmet dinner and a live auction.

More information can be found on Costa Mesa United's website at www.cmunited.com.

Costa Mesa United has raised more than $1 million and provided more than $600,000 in grants to local youth sports organizations and their facilities over the years.
