The Huntington Beach Green Chargers won their second game of the season Saturday by blanking the Saddleback Valley Chargers, 27-0, in Pop Warner Football Junior Pee Wee Division action at Edison High.

Behind the solid blocking of the offensive line consisting of Seth Allen, Shawn Chisholm, Ryan Easterday, Anders Palmquist and Keilan Lefaoseu and a stingy, hard-hitting defense led by Caden Kendle, Jordan Ginnis, Zeke McCreight, Joey Gentilella, Connor Provost, Jaxon Price and Rex Campbell, the Green Chargers cruised to the win.

Easterday, playing quarterback, scored on a five-yard keeper Kendle kicked a two-point conversion to make the score 8-0. In the second quarter, Dane Despars busted a 20-yard run and Artis Coleman finished up the drive with a seven-yard touchdown run to make it 13-0 .

Phillip Overturf scored on a 10-yard run and Kendle caught the extra point pass from Easterday late in the second quarter to make the 21-0 at halftime.
