On Tuesday, the Ocean View 10-11 and 8-9 All-Star teams won Section 10 titles.

Huntington Valley trips Viejo to take Section 10 crown

Huntington Valley won the Section 10 Little League All-Stars title by holding off Viejo (District 68), 10-9, at Modjeska Park (Loara Little League host) in Anaheim. Huntington Valley led the entire game but a grand slam by Jaedon Bartling gave the locals a six-run cushion.

Miles Magana previously hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning for Huntington Valley. Magana also shared pitching duties with Chandler Oveson.

“After losing in sectionals last year, this year our goal was to make to the championship game,” Huntington Valley Manager Dave Hahn said. “We achieved that goal and won the game. The team and everyone involved is having a great time. These are memories for a lifetime.”
