Untouchables Black dominant in winning crown

The Untouchables Black boys’ Under-13 Silver Elite soccer team rolled past the competition last weekend to win its division at the Cypress Cup tournament.

The Untouchables Black, out of the Untouchables Soccer Club of Fountain Valley, powered its way to 26 goals on offense and the defense surrendered just one goal in two days of action. The Untouchables ended the tournament Sunday with a 4-0 shutout of Juventus Soccer Club of Downey in the championship game.

Nine teams competed in the boys’ U13 division.

The Untouchables Black boys’ U13 team is: forwards Israel Rios, Garen Balikgioclu, Jack Slavik, Tyler Rule and Alessandro De La Cruz, midfielders Daniel Banta, Christian Keys, Andrew Duong, Taigen Hegberg, Bobby Jinkins, Anthony Kiriaki and Calvin Cruz, defenders Michael Salcedo, Kobie Anton, Adam Hepburn and Kevin Whalen, and goalie Allen Montero. The team is coached by Gabriel Montoya and managed by Gilda Banta.
