AYSO Region 143 sign ups are April 17

AYSO Region 143 (Huntington Beach) will hold the second of three registration sessions for its 2012 fall season April 17 at Meadow View School, 5702 Clark Drive, Huntington Beach. The league will hold its third registration on May 9, also at Meadow View.

Barons golf tournament set for June

The Fountain Valley High School Football Boosters is hosting the seventh annual “Moose Invitational” Golf Tournament on June 25 at the Classic Course at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. The cost is $150 per golfer, which includes contests and prizes. Registration for the event is at https://www.barongolf.com.

The annual event helps raise money for the Fountain Valley football program and the Michael Musso Memorial Fund. Musso, a 2004 graduate of Fountain Valley High School, lost his life in a car accident in 2005. Through the fundraiser, a scholarship is given to a four-year Barons football player each year
