The Mets continue to roll along in Ocean View Little League Minor B Division action, winning twice over a two-day period.

Behind a potent offense and a rotation that included five pitchers, the Mets scored an 18-4 victory March 10 over the Rockhounds.

Matt Fox started on the mound for the Mets and also drove in two runs on offense. Luke Kumaric, who also took a turn on the mound, also had multiple runs batted in. Dominic Riola doubled and also pitched, Colby Turner had a hit to right field, and Andrew Bentley (three strikeouts) and Sebastian Aparicio also pitched.

Jacob Hickman, a player on loan to the Rockhounds from the Aeros, made an outstanding catch at the outfield fence in center field during the game.

In a division game played Friday, the Mets rallied from an early, two-run deficit, to post a 14-6 win over the Naturals.

The Naturals took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Mets responded by scoring three runs in the bottom-half of the frame. Kumaric hit a home run and Aparicio and Turner also had hits. After Aparicio, aided by the Mets defense, needed just three pitches to retire the Naturals in the top of the second, the Mets came back in the bottom of the inning on a hit from Jack Pirooz, who later scored on Kumaric's second hit of the game.

Kumaric drove in another run in the fifth and Trevor Kamps had two RBIs.
