Race car driver Michael Lewis of Laguna Beach rode to victory Sunday at the International Motor Sports Assn. GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama races event at Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca.

Lewis, 23, led every lap of his final race Sunday in the No. 98 Competition Motorsports/Curb-Agajanian Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to claim his second victory of the day and season. The event was his first competition at Laguna Seca.

“Racing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a pretty special opportunity in itself,” Lewis said in a statement. “Then, earning the pole position and winning both races [Sunday], it’s hard to get any better than that.”
