The Therapeutic Riding Center of Huntington Beach will hold a fundraiser at Mama’s on 39 to benefit the all-volunteer organization. The group offers riding opportunities to people with disabilities and is housed in the Huntington Beach Central Park Equestrian Center.

Mama’s is offering 30% of the proceeds for food and drinks purchased from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on March 13 at the restaurant, 21022 Beach Blvd. at Atlanta Avenue.

The program is designed to provide physical benefits such as improved balance, coordination and muscle relaxation.

St. Patrick’s Day for the Knights

The Sts. Simon & Jude Church affiliated Knights of Columbus are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance fundraiser on March 16.

The event will be 5:30 to 10 p.m. at Colman Hall on the Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church campus at Magnolia and Indianapolis.

The evening will include Irish music and dancers and a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner.

Presale tickets for adults are $20 and are available Sts. Simon & Jude parish office starting March 3. Tickets are $25 at the door. There are special discounts for teens and younger children.

The organization supports charities like the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Boys and Girls Club.

Giving time to Olive Crest

Three Seabreeze Management Company team members donated their time recently at Olive Crest’s annual Sweetheart Brunch.

Seabreeze staffers Jennifer Cota-Robles, Diane Horovitz and Aubry Morales helped with the silent auction.

The event was held Feb. 17 at the Hilton Waterfront Hotel to benefit Olive Crest Education Programs for at-risk youth in Orange County.

Three Seabreeze staff members donated their time that morning and helped facilitate the silent auction with more than 200 items. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Olive Crest Education Programs for at-risk youth in Orange County.
