The 9/11 Memorial Committee is hosting a Gala to raise money for a monument at Huntington Beach Civic Center.

The event will be Sunday at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa Grand Ballroom.

Casino Night for H.B. High

Huntington Beach High School will host a Viva Las Vegas Casino Night fundraiser.

The event will be 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 22 at Meadowlark Country Club, 16782 Graham St. in Huntington Beach.

There will dinner, drinks, dancing, a live and silent auction and casino games.

Cost is $42.50 before Feb. 10, $50 after and $60 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at hbhsedfoundation.com.

The foundation is a volunteer, non-profit corporation comprised of parents, students, alumni, staff and representatives of business and the community to raise funds for the benefit of all students at HBHS.
