A former Huntington Beach youth soccer referee could face a decade-long jail sentence for molesting minors, according to the Orange County district attorney’s office.

Jorge Serafin, 31, of Anaheim, pleaded guilty Tuesday to three counts of oral copulation of a minor younger than 16, one count of a lewd act on a child and one count of a lewd act on a child younger than 14.

The former Oak View Soccer League referee faces up to 10 years and eight months in state prison and a mandatory lifetime sex offender registration at his sentencing Nov. 15 in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.

According to prosecutors, Serafin began talking with a 15-year-old boy on Facebook. On two occasions in November 2012, the victim was invited to meet Serafin in the parking lot of his apartment complex. There, Serafin orally copulated the teen and was orally copulated by the teen twice.

Then on Jan. 10, 2013, Serafin invited a 14-year-old boy who lived in the neighborhood to his home to use his computer and proceeded to touch the victim in a sexual manner. The defendant later in the day gave a bare-back massage with sexual intent to a 10-year-old, who also lived in the neighborhood, according to the district attorney’s office.

Oak View Soccer League President Jose Rodriquez wrote in a statement in January that none of the three victims was in that league.

Serafin was a referee for Oak View during the times of the crimes.
