Three former Fountain Valley High School students posted bail this week after having been arrested on suspicion of vandalizing the high school, according to a Fountain Valley police news release.

Nicholas Irwin, 21, of Huntington Beach, and Michael Ross, 21, of Fountain Valley, posted bail Wednesday and Karlo Cirson, 21, of Westminster, posted bail Thursday. The men had been booked into Orange County Jail on vandalism charges.

Police arrested the trio Tuesday after school staff members identified them on a security video, according to the release.

Police said the three suspects caused about $1,085 damage to school property.

Surveillance cameras recorded individuals jumping over the fence onto campus from 2:05 to 3:30 a.m. May 11.

The suspects forced their way into another building on campus after they were unsuccessful in cutting a padlock to get into the school’s snack bar, according to police.

Authorities said the suspects destroyed several trophies, pictures and other items by throwing them into the school’s swimming pool.
