Police seek help identifying suspects

Fountain Valley police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects involved in separate crimes.

Authorities released photos of three individuals suspected in respective criminal actions, according to multiple press releases from police.

On March 24, a suspect wearing a blue jacket and a riding a blue mountain bike reportedly stole a cell phone and an MP3 player from an employee’s desk at a business on Lawson River Avenue. He was last seen riding away on his bicycle.

A theft from a vehicle was reported Feb. 28, when a man broke into a vehicle in the 17000 block of Newhope Street and stole a purse. The victim’s credit card was used at three businesses in Santa Ana the same day, according to a press release. The suspect, described as a man with multiple tattoos, was last seen driving a gray or black 1995-99 Chevrolet Suburban.

Police are also trying to identify a burglary suspect, who reportedly used a stolen credit card to buy gift cards at a Target in Cypress. The burglary occurred March 21 at a residence in Fountain Valley, police said. The suspect, who was last seen driving a silver Honda Accord, used the credit card the same day to make his purchases.
