Local couples take their vows - again

Two couples from Huntington Beach and one from Fountain Valley renewed their wedding vows as part of a ceremony at Temple Beth David in Westminster.

The March 8 event, which also featured six other couples, was intended to teach youths in religious school about Jewish traditions, according to Keri Gee Semmelman, a temple board member who joined her husband of nine years, Elliot, in the vow renewal.

The other local couples in the ceremony were Karen and Steven Hertz of Huntington Beach, who have been married nearly 36 years, and Thomas and Myrna Motzer of Fountain Valley, who renewed their vows after five years of marriage.
