Golden West College President Wes Bryan will be receiving the Harry Buttimer Distinguished Administrator Award to recognize his leadership at the college.

The Coast Community College District announced Feb. 19 that Bryan will be getting the Assn. of California Community College Administrators’ most prestigious award at the organization’s annual conference Feb. 27 in San Diego, according to a press statement.

“We are so proud that our very own President Bryan has been recognized for his outstanding leadership,” said Andrew Jones, chancellor of the Coast Community College District. “His commitment to Coast’s mission and its students is what makes him such a great administrator. We are lucky to have him in the Coast family.”

“I am truly honored to receive such a prestigious award,” he said the statement. “It means so much to be recognized and nominated by my colleagues from [Golden West College], Coast and other organizations and institutions across the state and country. I am overwhelmed by all the support and am sincerely thankful for the opportunity to serve the students of Golden West College.”
