Disney fans, rejoice: The Fashion Island annual holiday tree lighting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The free 20-minute show, which features a full ensemble of Disney characters and magical snowfall, attracts about 10,000 guests each night. Let’s go Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks hockey team will celebrate “Duck the Halls” at the Market Place, formerly known as Tustin Marketplace, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Fans are invited to enjoy a player meet-and-greet, games and mascot Wild Wing’s special breed of antics. An away-game watch party with a massive screen will be held in the Edwards theater parking lot. The shopping center also will debut three Ducks-themed holiday tree displays, which will be on view through Jan. 4. Following the watch party, kids’ holiday activities are planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 20. A Ducks-inspired photo backdrop also will allow visitors to join in the fun.
