Classic cool: Enjoy the music of Nick Waterhouse at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts’ Off Center Festival 2015 Party on the Plaza. Live long and prosper: Dr. Claudia Kawas will speak about “Medicine in Our Backyard: The 90+ Study” at 7 p.m. Monday at the Newport Beach Public Library’s Central Library Friends Room, 1000 Avocado Ave., Newport Beach. The study, begun in 2003 at UC Irvine, looks at those ages 90 and up — the fastest-growing age group in the country.
