Relay for Life fundraiser Nov. 21

The Huntington Beach Relay for Life coordinators are at work for next year’s event and have a fundraising boutique lined up for November.

The fundraiser is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Old World Village’s festival garden at 7561 Center Ave.

Organizers are looking for vendors as well as shoppers.

Vendor space is free, but they are asked to donate 20% of their profit from the day to Relay for Life.

The Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event, where residents form teams that pledge to have at least one participant walking around Huntington Central Park for 24 hours.

Cities across the nation hold their own fundraiser every year to raise money for cancer research, treatment and services.

The event will be from 11 a.m. May 21 to 11 a.m. May 22.
