Icy plunge for New Year

Residents and visitors rang in the New Year with an icy dip into the ocean at noon Saturday by the Huntington Beach Pier for the 11th annual Surf City Splash. The event was proceeded by a pancake breakfast by the Lions Club with all proceeds going to the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum.
