Latifzadh and the woman, who are dating, got into an argument inside the diner at 30622 Coast Hwy., before leaving and continuing the argument outside, Kravetz said.

At that point Latifzadh allegedly grabbed the woman’s neck and later kicked her BMW, resulting in dents and scratches, Kravetz said.

Latifzadh then left the area. Officers located him inside the nearby Albertsons shopping center at 30922 Coast Hwy. and arrested him.

He is being held on $10,000 bail for the battery charge and $500 for the vandalism charge.
