Fellowship is extended by invitation only to trial lawyers who have a minimum of 15 years of trial experience, have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality, according to the release.

“I am humbled to have been invited to join this distinguished group of trial lawyers,” Gibson said. “I have been fortunate to have been given the opportunity to represent our clients in major trials throughout my career. Without our clients I would not have received this distinction and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have served them in the courtroom.”

Gibson’s practice is concentrated in product liability, commercial and environmental litigation, according to the release. He represents manufacturers in product liability litigation involving motor vehicles, pharmaceuticals, aircraft, and machinery.

In the beginning of his legal career, Gibson served as a law clerk to Justice Frank X. Gordon in the Supreme Court of Arizona. He also served as a captain in the U.S. Army from 1966-71 where he was a recipient of the distinguished flying cross, bronze star and 25 air medals. Gibson is an alumnus of the University of Arizona College of Law.
