AREA 1

Broadway Street: Unknown trouble was reported in the 300 block at the bus depot at 4:52 p.m. Monday. A man was reportedly yelling at people and shouting something about white power. At one point a man was reported to have his pants down and at another time a man was reported to have his shirt off. At around 5:07 p.m. the subject was sent on his way.

Laguna Canyon Road and Canyon Acres Drive: A suspicious person was reported at 4:18 p.m. Monday in front of the bus stop at the Sawdust Festival. The subject reportedly was carrying a pole with a scythe at the end (a tree pruner) and told the caller that he was the angel of death and the caller was lucky that he was just tapping her on the shoulder.

Catalina: A caller reported a gardener using a leaf blower in the 500 block at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said the person had been cited previously and that they are there every Tuesday morning.

AREA 3

Forest Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 200 block at 12:42 p.m. Tagging was reported on the vestibule near the bathroom. The entry was apparently tagged over the weekend, and there was urination in front of the doors, baby powder all over the place and a scratch on the elevator.

Ocean Avenue: Grand theft was reported in the 200 block at 4:24 p.m. Monday. The caller said he chained his bike outside Hennessy’s Tavern but when he returned the next morning it was gone. The bike is valued at $2,500.

Cuprien Way: A burglary was reported in the 600 block at 11:04 a.m. Tuesday. The theft reportedly occurred some time over the weekend, and $35,000 in jewelry and cash was missing.

AREA 4

South Coast Highway: A caller reported Monday at 9:51 a.m. that her daughter’s ex-boyfriend accessed her business website and corrupted it.

Glenneyre Street and Bluebird Canyon: A possible drunk cyclist was reported at 1:22 p.m. Monday. The caller said the person was on a motorized bicycle going south on Glenneyre Street. They were reportedly driving erratically and almost hit the caller.

Glenneyre Street: A suspicious person was reported in the 1400 block at 10:58 a.m. Monday. The caller said the person seemed to be prying open the door of a red convertible classic car and was “looking all around like they didn’t want to get caught doing something.” The car was no longer in the area when police arrived.

Summit Drive: A traffic incident was reported in the 900 block at 5:40 p.m. A vehicle reportedly struck a brick column of a house.

AREA 5

Wesley Drive: Verbal threats were reported in the 21600 block at 10:33 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said a person had come to visit seven months earlier and was refusing to leave. She reportedly threatened the caller that she will use a knife or a gun if she has to.

Shreve Drive: A woman reported at 2:54 p.m. Sunday that her son hit his head while diving and he was lying in the sand at the bottom of the stairs on the beach.

South Coast Highway: A disturbance was reported in the 31700 block at 5:45 p.m. Sunday. A 7-Eleven clerk reported that a man was yelling at customers and was possibly drunk or on drugs. The man, from Huntington Beach, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
