Share

Junior Troop 535 from Huntington Beach ran a Women in Leadership panel at Hope View School in Huntington Beach as part of aMUSE, a Girl Scout program.

The Scouts wanted to understand the many roles women and girls play in the world and what leadership skills are needed for each. The troop decided to host a panel discussion featuring women in a variety of roles about what it takes to be successful.

The girls came up with questions, made decorations and led the panel, which comprised a Los Angeles County firefighter, former Army officer, lawyer, ballet teacher, pharmacist, professional softball player and an executive chef for Angel Stadium.
