Ferra is a mixed terrier, with cairn as well as perhaps some Yorkshire in her lineage. She is thought to be 8 months old and weighs barely 6 pounds, and she is spayed. Although she charms shelter staff, who give her as much attention as possible, a young dog especially needs the care and comfort of a home. The pup will also benefit from further training.

Ferra loves being held and cuddled, is a good little walker and impresses volunteers as being smart and eager to please. When she sits alertly on her kennel bed, she appears to be perched atop a throne.
