With a name aptly suggesting his companionable nature, Buddy is an English cocker spaniel mix whose owners recently surrendered him because of landlord and allergy issues.

He is a credit to his breed, with impeccable manners to match his British heritage. While other dogs may bark or jump — trying to attract attention — Buddy sits politely in the kennel, quietly awaiting his turn for a meal or walk. He is affectionate, enjoys toys and knows basic commands. Reports from his previous owner also reveal that Buddy behaves well around children and other dogs.

At 27 pounds, this 8-year-old is healthy, house-trained and already neutered. He wants to be everyone’s buddy and deserves a home where his fine qualities will be appreciated.
