Pet of the Week

Share

These dapper male dogs were found abandoned together last month.

Paxton, a Pekinese mix, is the more outgoing of the pair; Teddy, a Yorkshire terrier mix is shyer. Each is about 7 years old and weighs around 10 pounds. Both are healthy and will be neutered upon adoption.

They arrived with fleas and matted fur, so their skin was medicated and their naturally longer coats shaved. Soon they will grow into more recognizable images of their respective breeds.

The two enjoy a shared kennel, and it would be wonderful if they found a home together. However, they can be separated, if necessary. Paxton and Teddy are people-friendly and well behaved on their walks.

Because a significant number of older dogs currently reside in the shelter, adoption fees are discounted 50% for all canines over 5 years old — including these two. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit ochumanesociety.com.
