Unlike her namesake from the “Our Gang” comedy series, Darla is hardly a little rascal.

However, she was recently found as a stray, sitting in the middle of an intersection and seeming to have given up on finding her owner. Bedraggled and bewildered, she eagerly accepted a ride from an animal-control officer.

Darla has since enjoyed a mini-makeover to correct her skin, ear and dental issues. Now feeling more energetic with her health restored and her beautiful coat growing back, this charmer is eager to be welcomed into a new home.

The terrier mix weighs 17 pounds and is thought to be around 7 years old. She walks well on a leash, appears to be house-trained and has been spayed. While appreciating affection, Darla is not overly needy.
