Cooper is a dog who has a lot going for him.

At 4 years old, he is still young, healthy and fit but does not present puppy-like energy, which can prove challenging to an adopter. He is on the small side for a shepherd mix at only 40 pounds, which allows him to fit comfortably into more household settings.

As soon as Cooper arrived as a stray at the shelter, volunteers commented on how calm and well-behaved he was. Everyone loves to walk him because he is easy to handle on a leash, friendly but not overly interested in other dogs, and very affectionate with people. Cooper has been neutered and appears to be house-trained.
