Pet of the Week

Ginger longs to add a little spice to someone’s life. This 10-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix was surrendered by an owner who had a medical condition that prevented him from caring adequately for her.

Ginger has become a shelter favorite with her sunny disposition and playful personality. Often, Jack Russells are featured in films or on television because they are highly trainable and eager to work. While Ginger is not a starlet, she is smart and spunky.

This little girl is also healthy, spayed and house-trained. She loves her walks and has plenty of energy, although trending mellower than younger members of her breed.
