Thursday night football: The Orange County premiere of the upcoming film “Draft Day,” starring Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner, is slated for 7 p.m. April 3 at the Big Newport theater, 300 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. Tickets for the screening are $25, and proceeds will benefit the Foundation for the Undefeated and the Orange County Special Olympics. Those who purchase all-access passes for $175 will enjoy a private after-party at the Newport Beach Civic Center with drinks, hors d’oeuvres, music and dancing, as well as gift bags.
