Photography Show

“Drama in Seven Acts,” a photography exhibit featuring works by Lauren Greenfield, Alvin Booth, Themba Hadebe, David Lurie, Euro Rotelli, Robert Stivers and Guy Tillim, is on display at the OMC Gallery for Contemporary Art, Old World Village, 7561 Center Ave. #32, Huntington Beach. Chanukah Party

Chabad of West Orange County hosts a Latkes & Laughter Chanukah Party at Chabad of West Orange County, 5052 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach. Comedian Robert Cait will be on hand to entertain adults and children, and there will be sushi, a salad bar, latkes and doughnuts, as well as a menorah lighting. Holiday Celebration

The Community Service Program’s Huntington Beach Youth Shelter hosts its 14th annual Light a Light of Love holiday event in downtown Huntington Beach, with activity centered on Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway and the Huntington Beach Pier. The program includes a holiday bazaar at the Strand, a Paws for Change dog holiday costume contest, a children’s parade down Main Street, entertainment at Pier Plaza and a snowflake lighting ceremony at the pier. Volunteer Meeting

The Huntington Beach Coordinating Council holds its monthly meeting at Murdy Park, 7000 Norma Drive, Huntington Beach. The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. and members of volunteer groups around town, including Women of Action, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and others, are invited to attend and talk about coordinating volunteer efforts.

Menorah Lighting

Chabad of South Huntington Beach celebrates the last night of Hanukkah with a menorah lighting ceremony at the Bella Terra amphitheater, 7777 Edinger Ave., Huntington Beach. The program includes greetings, musical entertainment and refreshments, with Chanukah gifts given to the children.
