Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9557 and its Ladies Auxiliary, along with Girl Scout Troop 1121, host a Veterans Day ceremony at Heritage Park, 17635 Los Alamos, Fountain Valley. The event is from 10 a.m. to noon and includes crafts, games, music, refreshments and more. Patrons are asked to bring a food item to send to troops overseas, including powdered drink packets, Pop-tarts, crackers, instant oatmeal, granola bars and Ramen noodles. Admission is free. American Legion Ceremony

The city of Huntington Beach and American Legion Post 133 host a Veterans Day ceremony at Pier Plaza, Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach. The Huntington Beach Interfaith Council will also lead a prayer, and the Huntington Beach High School band will play.
