SUNDAY: A two-hour walking tour of the Bolsa Chica mesa and wetlands is conducted at 10 a.m. on the third Sunday of every month by the Bolsa Chica Land Trust. This docent-led tour makes five stops along the walk bridge and loop trails of the wetlands. Meet in the south reserve parking lot on Pacific Coast Highway across from Bolsa Chica State Beach. O.C. Women’s Chorus

Cystic Fibrosis Benefit

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hosts Great Strides, a three-mile walk to raise funds for treatment and research, at the Huntington Beach Pier, Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway. The event also includes live music and free food from local restaurants. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the walk starting at 10 a.m. Participants can walk for free but are encouraged to solicit pledges and other donations.
