Derby Day

The Therapeutic Riding Center hosts its third annual Derby Day in the Red Horse Barn at the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center, 18381 Goldenwest St., Huntington Beach. Art Festival

The 44th Annual Sunset Beach Art Festival takes place at the Sunset Beach Community Center & Green Belt, 17222 S. Pacific Ave. The festival IS from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and features art vendors, entertainment, food, a raffle and a kids’ talent show. Duck-A-Thon

The annual Duck-A-Thon takes place at the Huntington Beach Pier. The event begins with a wine tasting from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door, with VIP tickets $50 and $60, respectively. The Duck Festival, in which individuals and companies race rubber ducks off the pier, takes place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
