Art of the Figure

Juried Art Show

The Huntington Beach Art League accepts entries for its Annual Juried Open Show at the Huntington Beach Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave. Works of all mediums are accepted from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. There is a limit of three items per artist and the price is $15 per entry for Art League members, $20 for non-members. Native Plant Sale

Shipley Nature Center’s annual Spring Festival and Native Plant Sale is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event includes an information fair with community groups and businesses sharing information about the environment. Naturalists from Inside the Outdoors will bring live animals. Nursery volunteers will be on hand to talk about adding native plants to your garden. Nature hikes with Shipley Docents will be scheduled during the day.
