Art Exhibit

“Pressing the Limits,” featuring works by Michael Costello, Mitchell Shields Marti, Jennifer Lynch and Willis F. Harold Chapman Exhibit

Learn to Skate Day

McKenna Volkswagen Surf City hosts “Learn to Skate Day” with professional skateboarders Christian Hosoi and Tosh Townend at 18711 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach. Easter Egg Hunt

The Fountain Valley Community Foundation hosts an Easter egg hunt at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park, 16400 Brookhurst St. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast provided by the Fountain Valley Kiwanis Club for $5 and continues with free carnival games, crafts, balloon artists, bounce houses and more until 11:30 a.m. Pictures with the Easter Bunny are $2. The Orange County California Genealogical Society hosts a seminar on “Finding Your Elusive Ancestor: The Genealogical Proof Standard and Doing a Reasonably Exhaustive Search,” with speaker Randy Seaver at the Huntington Beach Central Library, Rooms C and D, 7111 Talbert Ave. Seaver will speak at 11 a.m. following a 10 a.m. business meeting, and lead a workshop at 12:30 p.m. There will be other workshops in the morning and afternoon.
