Mardi Gras Night

The Huntington Beach Art Center Foundation hosts “Mardi Gras Night in Monte Carlo,” a fundraiser featuring live jazz, a Mardi Gras mask contest, casino-style gaming, a silent auction, food and more, at 538 Main St., Huntington Beach. General admission is $50 (includes $35 in gaming chips) and VIP tickets are $75 (includes $50 in gaming chips, valet parking, a souvenir wine glass and a drink ticket). Drum-a-Thon

The Marina High School Drum Line performs its fourth annual Drum-a-Thon in the Vons parking lot at Springdale Street and Edinger Avenue, Huntington Beach. Grace Lutheran Preview

Grace Lutheran School hosts a community preview day for prospective students and their families at 5172 McFadden Ave., Huntington Beach. Families can tour the campus and meet faculty, and there will be MIND/music demonstrations, sports and cheer demonstrations, a bounce house, a dunk tank and more. Celebrity Golf Tournament

KinderVision hosts a celebrity golf tournament and banquet at the SeaCliff Country Club, 6501 Palm Ave., Huntington Beach. Those in attendance include author Michael Reagan, activist Aaron Cohen and baseball stars Goose Gossage, Rollie Fingers, Ernie Banks, Bobby Grich, Blue Moon Odom and many others. The 11 a.m. golf tournament is sold out, but tickets are still available for the banquet and reception, which begin with registration at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $100 per person, $750 for a table of eight. Down Syndrome Benefit

The International Surfing Museum and Team Up for Down Syndrome host “Surf’s Up for Down Syndrome,” an event featuring dinner, surfing activities, auctions, music by the Chantays and more, at Sandy’s Beach Grill, 315 Pacific Coast Hwy., Huntington Beach. Surfing and baseball stars including Lisa Andersen, PT Townend, Mark Langston and Rex Hudler will be in attendance. The event begins at 4 p.m. and admission is $125. Musical Dinner Theater

Liberty Christian School presents “The Music Man” along with a steak dinner at 7661 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 3 and 5 p.m. Feb. 4, with the show starting soon after. Tickets are $29 for adults, $27 for students. General admission for the show (without dinner) is available Feb. 3 only, with doors opening at 7:15 p.m. and admission $9 for adults, $7 for students.
