Miss HB still taking applications

The Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant still has spots available for prospective contestants.

Women between the ages of 17 and 24 who work or live in Huntington Beach can apply at https://www.misshb.org or turn in applications by 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at Old World Village’s Festival Hall, 7561 Center Ave. Applicants can also call the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce at (714) 536-8888.

The contest will take place Feb. 19 at the Huntington Beach High School auditorium. This year’s pageant also features a Lil’ Princess section for 5- to 12-year-olds. Miss Huntington Beach will go on to compete in the Miss California pageant in June.
