Milani among several to support 7th annual ‘Ante Up For Autism’

Leyla Milani, a Newport Coast resident and a former model who was featured on “Deal or No Deal,” is one of several special guests scheduled to appear at the seventh annual Ante Up For Autism charity event Saturday at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort.

Milani, now a business woman who is married to real estate tycoon Manny Khoshbin with a 1-year-old daughter, Priscilla, was best known as “Lucky 13” or “Lucky Leyla,” as a briefcase model on the NBC game show hosted by Howie Mandel.

Milani has guest starred on many shows, including, “Las Vegas,” “Rules of Engagement,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Entourage,” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,”

On Saturday, she’ll be doing her part among other special guests to raise money for the Talk About Curing Autism event. TACA’s offices are located in Irvine.

Lacey Chabert of “Mean Girls,” and “Party of Five,” fame, as well as “American Pie” actress Shannon Elizabeth are also on this year’s roster, which in the past has included three-time Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings and Olympic canoers Krisztina Fazekas Zur (gold medalist) and Rami Zur (Olympic athlete and coach) who lived and trained in Newport Beach.

Actor and poker player Joseph Reitman and pro poker player Michelle Lau are co-hosting the fundraising event that last year raised at least $264,000 (gross) for families who are touched by autism..

The event begins with a red-carpet VIP reception at 5 p.m.
