At Bella Terra, it's Kids Club time from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday.

Singer Jamie Shaheen will entertain children with sing-a-longs as she plays the piano. The Kids Club takes place at the outdoor amphitheater near the movie theater and Johnny Rockets.

If you haven't been, it's a great way to spend a half hour. I used to take my son to the weekly events during the summer, and kids loved the show, not to mention running around the amphitheater.

Bella Terra is at 7777 Edinger Ave.; http://www.bellaterra-hb.com.

A twist on Fashion Week

Fashion Week in Orange County will have a bit of a twist with the upcoming Working Wardrobes event, "Edith Head to Toe: Runway Styles that Really Work," from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 15 at the Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel, 686 Anton Blvd. in Costa Mesa.

Susan Claassen will act as Edith Head, the Academy Award-winning costume designer from the '40s and '50s, for the catwalk and luncheon event, which will benefit Working Wardrobes, according to news release.

While moderating the fashion show (in character), Claassen — who stars in the acclaimed one-woman show, "A Conversation with Edith Head" — will also share her do's and don'ts of fashion and style.

"For anyone who's tried on a dozen dresses for a night out, wondered what is appropriate for a specific occasion or for those who simply love channeling their inner fashionista, we invite you to spend an afternoon with the always-entertaining Susan Claassen, which is sure to make you feel like a glamorous, award-winning star," Jerri Rosen, founder and chief executive of Working Wardrobes, said in a statement. "Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of fashion, food and sophistication, all while supporting the career development and wardrobing services Working Wardrobes provides to hundreds of individuals in transition each year."

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and all proceeds will benefit Working Wardrobes. Tickets are $100 per person; table sponsorship start at $1,500. For more information and to buy tickets, call (714) 210-2460 or visit http://www.workingwarddrobes.org.
